I’m a Canadian, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. I’m a proud prairie boy in a lot of ways, but the West Coast truly won me over once I moved for University. I’m in my final semester at the University of Victoria studying International Business. My educational path has been exciting and diverse and has taken me across the globe in a variety of situations.
My passion for international business stems from my year abroad in 2011 and 2012 as a Rotary Youth Exchange student to Austria where I developed proficiency in German and truly started my extensive travels.
After my first year in Victoria, I applied for, and become one of 21 Canadian recipients of the Fulbright Canada Killam Fellowships. This afforded me the opportunity to study for a semester in the capital of our closest neighbour – Washington, D.C., at American University. Here I focused largely on economics and accounting.
Following Washington, I returned to Victoria and began working on the core year of my program, applying for, and receiving my top choice school for my third, and final, international academic exchange. I spent the most recent semester in Hong Kong at the City University of Hong Kong.
I’ve just completed an internship in England as an Operations Manager Intern with ZipJet, Inc.
I have a diverse global mindset built of years of travel and living abroad, and I hope to utilize this skillset moving forward.
